MIRANDA BADOLATO
Miranda is fascinated with whole body wellness and understands that Yoga is an integral part of that. Miranda has her doctorate in nutritional sciences and an undergraduate degree in exercise science, specializing in longevity and nutrition security. She has studied the Blue Zones, areas in the world with the highest concentration of centenarians, where nutrition and movement are prioritized and integrated into people's daily lives. She studies movements that centenarians engage in regularly, including squatting or getting up off the floor, and includes those movements in her classes. For Miranda, the beauty of Yoga is that it is accessible to all and can be used as a tool to improve your longevity. Her practice incorporates movements, poses, and breathwork that have been studied and demonstrated to enhance wellness. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with teachers Natalie Nix and Melissa Montilla at Kardiya Yoga Studio in Gainesville, Florida during her graduate studies. She will be teaching Wake Up and Flow on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 am where she hopes students will leave grounded, refreshed, and ready to start the day.
