KELLI WHITE
Kelli's journey into yoga began in 1998, and it was love at first sight. An active individual with a passion for movement, she initially found herself drawn to the physical practice of asana. However, it didn't take long for her to discover that yoga offered so much more than just physical postures. "My practice keeps me grounded during times of uncertainty, keeps me humble during times of growth, and provides refuge when I need security," Kelli reflects.
Her approach to teaching is deeply rooted in fostering connection with her students. She encourages curiosity, welcomes questions, and values personal accountability. Kelli integrates music into her classes as a tool to help students quiet mental distractions, allowing them to center their focus on their bodies and breath.
Kelli's classes are thoughtfully planned, with a strong emphasis on anatomy and safe alignment. She prioritizes mindful transitions and designs her sessions to build physical strength, mental resilience, and equanimity. Through a blend of strength-building exercises and active stretching, she promotes breath awareness and encourages a compassionate approach to practice.
With an emphasis on curiosity and acceptance, Kelli empowers students to take ownership of their practice, adjusting the intensity to fit their personal needs. Her commitment to creating a welcoming environment ensures that each student feels supported as they cultivate a sustainable yoga practice. Above all, Kelli’s guidance helps students tune out their inner critics, fostering inner peace and self-acceptance.
